Braveheart, Trainspotting and Highlander are just a few of the famous films to have come out Scotland in recent years – and with the help of Abbey Business Centres, the new short film ‘Data Entry’ from 14C-Studio could soon be added to that list.
‘Data Entry’ follows 19 year old Darren as he takes up the temp role of a Data Entry clerk in an office in Glasgow and quickly becomes embroiled in a very atypical ‘9 to 5’ scenario of love and death.
Through our shared links with the Prince’s Scottish Youth Business Trust, 14C contacted us and enquired about the availability of our St Vincent Street business centre – and we were more than happy to let them have free reign of the centre for a day.
Take a look below at some of the shots taken on the day.
Douglas King, Director for Data Entry, was delighted with how the filming went.
“The choice of Abbey Business Centres in the heart of Glasgow provided the perfect location for the film. Not only did the office really look the part, the staff were unbelievably helpful and made sure that we had all the facilities we needed. Thanks again to Kathy and Nicola and everyone else at Abbey for their help.”
14C have been nominated for numerous awards, including the Scottish New Talent Bafta Award, for their last film ‘A Good Mate’.
The film is now at the post production stage with 14C hoping to set a release date very soon…and we can’t wait to see the final outcome.
