Finance folk find free function fascinating!

Abbey Business Centres teamed up with accounting and business services group RSM Tenon last week to hold a free networking event on the subject of Inward Investment and International Expansion at their business centre in Victoria.

Approximately 70 attendees enjoyed an evening of informal networking with drinks and canapés served from 5.30pm to 9pm. Guests were well looked after by representatives of both RSM Tenon and Abbey.

Gayle Morley and Douglas Clark, representing RSM Tenon, introduced the speakers with each giving the audience their insights and opinions into this crucial area of finance management. Short speeches were also given during a brief interlude in proceedings by Kim Dann, Sales Director at Abbey, and Phil Coleman, Director at RSM.

A business card draw was made at the end of the night with prizes including an evening with Kim at the 30 St Mary Axe (The Gherkin) restaurant in London, a bottle of champagne, a day’s free meeting room usage at any of Abbey’s UK locations and a complimentary day of office hot desking.

Adrian Worgner from Lloyds TSB won the top prize of an evening at 30 St Mary Axe. Pauline Knott from PwC won herself the bottle of bubbly whilst Mike Newing, also from Lloyds TSB, claimed the meeting room usage. Finally Michael Fahey of Steeles Law grabbed himself the hot desking opportunity.
